Dr Maximilian Bahnsen advises listed and unlisted companies on all aspects of stock corporation, capital market, commercial, and corporate law. He supports his clients in particular in all matters relating to corporate housekeeping, directors' and officers' liability, the conduct of shareholders' meetings and general meetings, and actions for annulment, and regularly advises on M&A transactions.
Dr Maximilian Bahnsen studied law at the University of Hamburg (Germany) from 2014 to 2018 and then worked as a research assistant at the Hamburg University’s Institute of Maritime Law, where he obtained his doctorate in 2022 under the guidance of Prof. Dr Marian Paschke for a doctoral thesis on questions of antitrust law in connection with container shipping companies. Part of his legal training in Hamburg involved working for renowned commercial law firms.
Maximilian Bahnsen joined Luther’s Hamburg office in 2024.
