A team of Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft provided legal support to the Paris-based Rémy Cointreau Group in the sale of two sales subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The buyer is the German company Jägermeister.
Rémy Cointreau's products will continue to be sold in Eastern Europe via the sales companies. The transaction, which is still subject to approval by the relevant antitrust authorities, is scheduled for completion on April 1, 2019. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
