The consulting and market research company Data Information Intelligence GmbH (DII) based in Leipzig is part of the British The Economist Intelligence Unit Ltd (EIU) since October 1. A team from Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft provided legal support to the DII shareholders in the deal.
The DII supports strategic business decisions of companies with a focus on diagnostics, medical products and imaging with regard to market potential and market models. The globally active consulting firm evaluates the validity of new product and business concepts for its clients. An interdisciplinary Luther team under the leadership of Denis Ullrich provided legal advice to the shareholders of DII on the sale of their investments.
EIU is the Research and Analysis Division of The Economist Group and a global leader in global business intelligence. EIU's portfolio includes international political and economic analyses as well as data and forecasting services.
